Tangled getting a micro sequel ahead of Beauty and the Beast 3D
I'm not ashamed to admit that one of my favorite films of last year ended up being TANGLED. The trailer was horrible, and it looked like a big misstep from Disney, but the final product was charming and gorgeously animated, and I've seen it about three time since.
Well now me and my four year old niece are getting even more TANGLED with a new micro sequel set to play ahead of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST 3D. This is something that Pixar has started doing, as they did with the new TOY STORY short ahead of CARS 2 this year, and it seems Disney has picked up their lead.
The short is called TANGLED EVER AFTER, and is about Flynn and Rapunzel's wedding where Pascal the chameleon and Maximus that horse lose the rings and must find them before the big moment. As those two creatures were the most hilarious things in the film, this should probably go pretty well.
The mini-film is being helmed by original directors Nathan Greno and Byron Howard, and Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore are reprising their respective voice roles as the happy couple.
