The 2006 Sitges Film Festival Wrap-Up

The Arrow is still churning out all of the reviews
for the films that he caught at this year’s SITGES FILM FESTIVAL
including such anticipated titles as THE
HOST
, ALL THE BOYS LOVE
MANDY LANE
, SISTERS
(remake)
, HATCHET,
RIGHT AT YOUR DOOR and
CAPTIVITY.

He’s also re-posted his reviews for films that were
being shown at the Festival that he’s already reviewed for Arrow in
the Head, including BROKEN,

PULSE
,
TZAMETI 13
,
EDMOND
,
A SCANNER DARKLY
,
GHOST OF MAE NAK
,
PAN’S LABYRINTH
,
LOST HIGHWAY
,
TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME
,
MOH: HOMECOMING
,
THE HEIRLOOM
,
HARDWARE
,
THE WICKER MAN (remake)
and RE-CYCLE.

The Arrow was also
honored enough to have his own film, DEADEN,
presented at the festival and shown right after ALL THE BOYS LOVE
MANDY LANE. Everyone seemed to really dig the film, which is always
nice to know. You can actually read a couple of “user
reviews” of the film on the IMBD here.
Director Christian Viel and the Arrow will be at the American Film
Market (AFM) starting next week, so for anyone who is interested in
seeing/purchasing distribution rights to the film, visit them at booth
#323.

Phew, and finally, the
Arrow also took part in the jury while in Spain, will be posting
another 4 reviews up from the Festival in the near future and as per
usual, took a slew of pictures out and about town. You can see some
of them below, but as per usual, just click on any of the pictures
and be taken to his entire photo gallery. Needless to say, it looks
like the man had a blast. Hopefully, I’ll be able to attend the festival myself
next year. Cheers!
