The gang's all here in these new Beauty and the Beast character posters

Beauty and the Beast Disney Emma Watson Dan Stevens

The thought of Disney adapting each and every one of their animated classics into live-action would usually be enough to trigger more than a few bouts of eye-rolling, but the studio has, for the most part, done an admirable job of treating these stories with respect. With over a dozen more live-action Disney adaptations on the horizon, there are plenty of opportunities for this trend to become stale, but the studio's next effort, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, is looking rather promising. Starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, the upcoming Bill Condon (DREAMGIRLS) film is nearly upon us and Disney has released a dozen new character posters to re-introduce us to the film's many characters.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will hit theaters on March 17, 2017.

I don't understand why they're showing all the characters in their human form on the posters. It's been a while since I saw the original, but I remember we only saw all the characters in human form for like, a few seconds at most. I'd think the CGI characters would be what sells this thing, particularly to kids and fans of the original. That said, the movie itself will probably be good. This is the only live-action Disney remake I'm actually looking forward to. If this odd advertising

If this odd advertising choice means Disney won't make as much money, well, it's not like they're hurting for money these days anyway.

They should have cast Patrick Stewart as Lumiere.

I will never understand the universal love for Emma Watson. She must be the greatest Wizard who ever lived the way she's cast a spell on the entire populace.

I agree with the comment below, these poster designs are rather disappointing. This movie is going to make a ton of money, so it doesn't matter. But if I was a kid these posters sure wouldn't get me interested in the movie, in fact probably the opposite. Although, the designs for the "object" characters lack the friendliness and warmth of the cartoon versions based on what I've seen in the trailer, so I'm not sure using them would do much better.

dont like the poster

there i said it. As hyped I am for this movie I think they went a wrong direction when they decided to use the real people vs their cursed counterparts in the posters. I mean the magic is in the enchanted castle, not the uncursed bodies.
