Think you’re McLovin?

Think you’ve got the comedic chops to be the next McLovin? Looking for that way to break into Hollywood? Well at the risk of sounding like a bad infomercial, have I got an opportunity for you!! Universal Pictures is holding an open casting call for a role in their upcoming UNTITLED NANCY MEYERS COMEDY starring Meryl Streep, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. The film is about a divorced woman who starts dating again only to have her jealous ex-husband come back and try to woo her again. But that would have nothing to do with you. You’d be the smart-alecky, wise-crackin’ teenager. Think you can pull that off?

The casting call says to “Think Michael Cera. Think Jonah Hill. Think McLovin’.” though to me those three seem like completely different comedic styles. I guess the rule is to basically act like you were in SUPERBAD and you’ve got a shot. The good news is that no experience is necessary so you can just be that dude who cracks up your friends while your mom goes, “Our little Johnny should be in movies…”

All you have to do is head to this casting page, show up to the audition, blow the casting director nail your audition and Alec Baldwin will be ignoring you at the craft services table in no time! The New York City audition is this Saturday so hop to it funny boy!
