Tom Arnold’s The Hunt for the Trump Tapes gets Viceland premiere date

Viceland has set a premiere date for their much-anticipated series THE HUNT FOR THE TRUMP TAPES WITH TOM ARNOLD. For the eight-episode series, the ofttimes controversial comedian will take his particular brand of activism to task as he explores the much talked about tapes that are rumored to include incriminating evidence against Donald Trump.

The show is so far being described as ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN meets CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, which if you ask me is one hell of a combination. For the show, Arnold will tap his wide array of both celebrity and political contacts in an effort to acquire and expose a collection of tapes said to contain footage that would further cripple Trump's reputation and position within the government.

As the episodes play out, Arnold will interact with celebrities the likes of Howard Stern, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Penn Jillette, Judd Apatow, and thorn in Trump's side, Rosie O'Donnell, as he searches for the elusive evidence. As Arnold expands his search thoughout the season, he'll also meet with veteran investigative journalists like Jane Mayer of The New Yorker and Russian Roulette authors David Corn & Michael Isikoff in addition to longtime Trump critic, former NY Daily News columnist A.J. Benza. Oh, but there's more. Arnold will also have sit-downs with former business associate Felix Sater and former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci a.k.a. The Mooch! Lastly, Arnold will finally share the details of his surprise meeting with Trump lawyer Michael Cohen earlier this summer in New York.

Other guests will undoubtedly pop up during the presentation, which is expected to be comedic in tone, though Arnold promises to never stray too far from his intended goal of exposing Trump's misdeeds. Arnold is convinced that the tapes exist, and he's made it his personal mission to bring them to the people.

THE HUNT FOR THE TRUMP TAPES WITH TOM ARNOLD will debut with a double episode on Tuesday, September 18 at 10:30 PM.
