Trick ‘r Treat director Michael Dougherty delivers Krampus Christmas cards

I suppose it's that time to start getting into the holiday spirit, so let's talk KRAMPUS! Based on the ancient legend of a pagan demon who punishes the wicked, Legendary Pictures’ KRAMPUS is a twisted horror comedy written and directed by Michael Dougherty (TRICK 'R TREAT). While KRAMPUS wont be released until December of next year, here are some nifty animated cards to tide you over.

There's a lot of folks who were impressed with Dougherty's horror flick TRICK 'R TREAT. While I wasn't one of them, fans of that now-cult flick should be excited to see him return to the world of horror. Besides, I think it's high time we got more Christmas movies of some substance, even if it is of the red variety. Dougherty is also one of four credited writers for the upcoming X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, so there's that. At this point, it coulnd't get any worse than his work on SUPERMAN RETURNS, right?

KRAMPUS will be released on December 4, 2015.
