One movie we really haven’t been reporting much on here at AITH is the sequel to Eli Roth’s CABIN FEVER: CABIN FEVER 2: SPRING FEVER. Now the lack of updates isn’t because we’re not interested in this (unnecessary?) sequel, not at all. It’s actually because… well…. there hasn’t really been any notable updates. Until now!
The guys over at DVD-Forum got their hands on the first stills from the straight-to-DVD sequel. You can go ahead and scope out one of them above in all of it’s face-eating-virus glory! If you want to check out the other two as well as a larger shot of the pic above you can head right over here.
CABIN FEVER 2 comes from director Ti West and centers around a high school prom that faces a deadly threat: a flesh-eating virus that spreads via a popular brand of bottled water. Well that simple-yet-intriguing synopsis and Ti West is just enough to have me intrigued… but not entirely excited about CABIN FEVER 2. What about you guys? It’s interesting to note that SPRING FEVER has Rider Strong returning, though it’s unsure whether it’d be a cameo or more. Along with Strong the flick also stars Noah Segan, Alexander Isaiah Thomas, Giuseppe Andrews, Alexi Wasser, Regan Deal (below), Rusty Kelley, Marc Senter and Michael Bowen. No set date for this one yet but we’ll be sure to pass along the good word once we hear more!
