Today, Fango got ahold of the first stills from two of Lions Gate’s upcoming thrill chills. Both BORDERLAND and CATACOMBS made their appearance early last week at the American Film Market.
Written and directed by Tomm Coker and David Elliot, and produced by Twisted Pictures (Gregg Hoffman, Oren Koules and Mark Burg), CATACOMBS tells the story of a young woman trapped in the titular 14th-century Parisian underground labyrinths, where some ancient evil is lurking around. The film itself stars THE ORDER’s Shannyn Sossamon (that’s her on the left) and singer Pink, and will hit theatres next year.
BORDERLAND, directed by Zev Berman (who also was a co-writer on the pic) and starring Sean Astin (LORD OF THE RINGS) and Rider Strong (CABIN FEVER) tells the based-on-true-events tale of three Americans who run afoul of a human-sacrificing/drug-dealing devil cult in Mexico.

Sounds like fun, doesn’t it? More on this and CATACOMBS as we get it.
