Universal has released a teaser trailer for STEVE JOBS starring Michael Fassbender as the Apple co-founder, and in my opinion this is a great first look at the upcoming film. I've never been a Jobs/Apple worshiper like some, but I'm interested in seeing the biopic because of the talent involved behind and in front of the camera. Danny Boyle directed the movie from a script by Aaron Sorkin (based on the Walter Isaacson's biography Steve Jobs) and besides Fassbender, the film also stars Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet and Jeff Daniels.

"The musicians play the instruments; I play the orchestra."

Official logline:

Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, the film takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.

It'll be interesting to see how Danny Boyle's take on Steve Jobs will compare to the 2013 Ashton Kutcher-led version, but I have a feeling the film will be a major player come awards season. What are your thoughts on the first STEVE JOBS trailer?

STEVE JOBS is set to hit theaters on October 9, 2015.
