With CLOVERFIELD slamming into theaters this Friday, and LOST finally returning to TV at the end of the month, it’s looking like JJ Abrams is riding cloud nine about now. He’s also one busy motorskooter, as the filming of his next TV series FRINGE is schedule to begin next month.

The main leads for FRINGE has just been cast, and they are… Kirk Acevedo (pictured) and Tomas Arana! Yeah, ok, I dunno either, but work with me people! It’s a new paranormal TV show – losers can’t be choosers!

Since it’s been awhile, you may want to a little FRINGE refresher – so here you go: The series revolves around a female FBI agent who ends up paired with a troubled scientist and his estranged son in a hunt for paranormal phenomena.

The new Fox show could spawn a new following of audiences, as well as pump a few up for the new X-FILES movie. Even with Abrams only on board as executive producer, there’s no doubt in my mind that this’ll be a show to watch out for.

Stick around for more on FRINGE, which (again) starts filming in Toronto next month, as we hear it!
