30 second teaser for Shutter Island featured at the Golden Globes

SHUTTER ISLAND hits theaters in a just a few weeks. You can tell it’s coming as more and more updates are coming out of the woodwork. Yesterday the MPAA was gracious enough to slap the film with an R rating (very nice!), and today, Yahoo!Movies scored a little teaser to the film, as was presented at this year’s Golden Globe Awards’ tribute to director Martin Scorsese!

In my useless opinion, the 30 second montage of SHUTTER ISLAND imagery may be the best “trailer” we’ve seen for the flick thus far. No talking (save for one small line and a number of grunts), no storyline, just a montage of images and actions from the film. Short, sweet, to the point, and best of all… enough to land anybody in theaters opening day to see this flick.
