Just yesterday we found out the Official Synopsis for THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR. Today, there’s even more MUMMY 3 news, though sad to say… not nearly as exciting as finding out exactly what this beast has instore for us.

You ready for this? MUMMY 3 has officially wrapped! Variety is reporting that Rob Cohen and crew threw a wrap party in China, and announced something very cool during the festivities: the film is set to premiere in Beijing on July 24th… one week before it’s set to premiere in North America! You may think to yourself, ‘yeah, big flippin’ deal,’ but for a Hollywood movie to hit Bejing before the rest of the world is a pretty big deal, as that shit rarely – if ever – happens. Very cool!

Cohen also revealed a five minute rough-cut trailer for the flick… but it was for those at the wrap party’s eyes only. The bastards. Anyway, I’m sure it looked pretty dope seeing Brenden Fraser and Jet Li kicking the crap out of each other… for now, all we have is our imaginations as to what that will look like before they release that trailer online.

Get ready for THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR in Beijing July 24th, and in North American July 31st!
