47 Meters Down: Uncaged trailer brings the claustrophobic shark mayhem

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

After being trapped in a shark cage on the bottom of the ocean floor in 47 METERS DOWN, you might wonder how the sequel will up the ante, well, I give you an ancient underwater city full of sharks! Johannes Roberts has returned to direct and co-write 47 METERS DOWN: UNCAGED, which tells the story of four teens who decide to turn their backs on the same old tourist garbage everyone else is doing and go cave diving in a ruined underwater city. What could go wrong? The foursome quickly find themselves in a watery hell as their adventure turns to horror when they learn that they aren't alone. As they swim deeper into the claustrophobic labyrinth of caves they enter the territory of the deadliest shark species in the ocean. Ruh oh.

47 METERS DOWN: UNCAGED will hit theaters on August 16th.
