65 Super Bowl TV spot previews Adam Driver vs. dinosaurs thriller

The Super Bowl TV spot promoting the sci-fi thriller 65, starring Adam Driver and produced by Sam Raimi, is now online

In years past, you would have to actually tune in and sit through the Super Bowl in order to see the new movie trailers and TV spots that were going to be shown during the Big Game’s commercial breaks. But these days most of those trailers and TV spots show up online before the game even starts. For example, this year we have Fast X, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and Scream 6, among others. The latest Super Bowl spot to show up online, two days before the Super Bowl, is one for the sci-fi thriller 65, and you can check it out in the embed above.

Coming to us from producer Sam Raimi and A Quiet Place (watch that one HERE) screenwriters Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, 65 is set to reach theatres on March 10.

Beck and Woods have written and directed 65, which has the following synopsis: After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth — 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at a rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures.

Adam Driver of the recent Star Wars trilogy stars in 65 alongside two child actors, Ariana Greenblatt (Love and Monsters) and Chloe Coleman (Big Little Lies). But there’s only one child character featured in the promotional materials. Where does the other one come from?

Raimi and Zainab Azizi produced the film for Raimi Productions. Beck and Woods are also producing, under their Beck/Woods banner, alongside Debbie Liebling. Beck and Woods previously worked with Raimi on 50 States of Fright, the anthology series he was producing for the now-defunct streaming service Quibi. That show is now available to watch on The Roku Channel.

What did you think of the 65 Super Bowl spot? Are you looking forward to this movie? Let us know by leaving a comment below. I will be watching this movie for sure. It looks pretty cool to me, and I’ll watch anything that has Raimi’s name on it.
