7 Golden Vamps again

JoBloJoBlo

When it comes to remakes, isn’t it better to start with esoteric material that might not have been great in the first place?

That’s apparently what Spitfire Pictures is doing — according to B-D, they’re removing the stake from the 1974 action-horror combo platter LEGEND OF THE SEVEN GOLDEN VAMPIRES and giving it renewed life with a modern treatment.

The deliriously kooky original (a cheesy personal fave) was a Hammer Films/Shaw Brothers collaboration, featuring monster-killing icon Peter Cushing as (yet again) Prof. Van Helsing fighting alongside kung fu vampire hunters.
