We all love a good ‘monster in the ground’ movie now and again. There’re all over the place. From TREMORS to PITCH BLACK. Well there’s a new one coming our way courtesy of the folks Down Under!
The movie is called NINE MILES DOWN and comes from director Anthony Waller. We scored a look at the new trailer for the flick over in our videos section. Go ahead and click through below to check that out.
Now while it’s not entirely original, I think NINE MILES DOWN has a chance. Before we even get into the trailer, the fact that it stars Kate Nauta (below) is a very good thing. Plus she’s looking as gorgeous as ever in NINE MILES DOWN. Now as for the trailer, I’m definitely digging it. There’s an obvious low budget feel to it, but it seems like it fits perfectly with the film.
NINE MILES DOWN is about a security patrolman enlisted to figure out what happened to a crew of drillers in the Australian outback. When he gets to the site, he finds a beautiful geologist name JC, who claims to the only survivor of the research team. The rest were killed after violence took over following the discovery of a cavern an unprecedented nine miles below the surface of the Earth. It all makes some sense, but as things progress Jack begins to suspect something supernatural is going down. Nauta plays the geologist while Adrian Paul stars as the security patrolman.
As stated, NINE MILES DOWN comes from director Anthony Waller and a script by Everett de Roche. So go ahead and scope out the trailer below. There’s no US release date yet for NINE MILES, but I’m sure we’ll be hearing one soon so keep it here for updates!
