Last Updated on July 30, 2021

A few weeks back, we brought you guys the exclusive poster for award-winning filmmaker Garo Setian's AUTOMATION starring Elissa Dowling, Parry Shen, and Graham Skipper. The sci-fi thriller/comedy will be out in select cinemas this November and on VOD and Blu-Ray in December. And today we have the film's trailer to share with you guys.

You can check out the trailer above and the AITH exclusive poster below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think!

Our very own John Fallon caught a private screening of the film last December and had this to say on his FB: "Ambitious beyond its means, often bleakly hilarious, at times moving (last frames got me) while acting as a potent social commentary."

It tells a heartwarming and gripping tale that begins

When a prototype automated worker robot named Auto has proven successful on the night shift at ALERT INSULATION, plans are put in motion to replace almost all the human employees with the next generation of robots — but to Auto's dismay, he is also to be replaced by the new and improved robots — something he refuses to accept, and takes murderous action to prevent.

Setian directed and edited AUTOMATION, and co-wrote alongside Rolfe Kanefsky and Matthew L. Schaffer. It stars Elissa Dowling (WE ARE STILL HERE), Parry Shen (The HATCHET films), Graham Skipper (SEQUENCE BREAK, ALMOST HUMAN), Sarah French and Sadie Katz.

Hungry Monster Entertainment partnered up with producers Mike Elliott, Greg Holstein, Joseph P. Genier, and Rob Kerchner to bring the film to life. Esther Goodstein (Slay Bells, Art of the Dead) also produces along with Dan Bowen (Alaska: The Final Frontier, Penn & Teller: Fool Us), Ted Smith (Guardian of the Realm), Robert Parigi (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Love Object) Allen Copeland (Untold Horror), and Charlie Klinakis.

The sci-fi thriller/comedy hits select cinemas on November 29, 2019, and VOD/Blu-Ray December 3, 2019.
