Last week, we shared a promo for the upcoming Marvel / Netflix series The Punisher that was posted on the show's official Twitter account and gave an extended look at a stairway scene glimpsed in an early trailer. That promo was just one of several that have been put on Twitter in recent days, and now most of them have been assembled below for your viewing pleasure.
The promos are short, but they give a preview of both violent moments and dramatic character moments – including a recurring nightmare Frank Castle / The Punisher has about his late wife, and an exchange with Karen Page, a character from the Daredevil series (where this iteration of Castle made his debut) who is following The Punisher over to his own show.
The series stars Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / The Punisher and has the following synopsis:
After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Frank Castle uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone.
Karen Page is played by Deborah Ann Woll. Also in the cast are Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, Michael Nathanson, Jaime Ray Newman, Jason R. Moore, Daniel Webber, and Paul Schulze.
All thirteen episodes of The Punisher's first season will be available for viewing on Netflix as of this Friday, November 17th.
