Doctor Who, The Hunt, We Summon the Darkness

It's Tuesday again, folks, which means that many fine men and women who pilot delivery trucks are busy handing out boxes of Blu-rays and DVDs to any number of department stores and small business owners. Despite offerings being a bit slim this week, there's still a handful of notable releases set to hit the home market that are well worth adding to your collection!

Leading the feature film pack this week is director Craig Zobel's controversial thriller THE HUNT (Buy Here). In THE HUNT, twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don't know where they are, or how they got there. They don't know they've been chosen – for a very specific purpose – The Hunt. Dun dun dunnnn! Also on the feature film front is WE SUMMON THE DARKNESS (Buy Here). Directed by Marc Meyers, the film centers around three best friends who embark on a road trip to a heavy-metal show, where they bond with three aspiring musicians and head off to one of the girls' country home for an after-party. As you can probably imagine, things take a turn for the supernatural and satanic.

In terms of TV series, DOCTOR WHO: THE COMPLETE TWELFTH SEASON (Buy Here), which stars Jodie Whittaker as the long-running series' first female Doctor, is now available to own in physical form. Fun Fact: I've already purchased my copy of this one, because I loves me some Doctor Who.

Beyond the movies mentioned above as well as the good Doctor's twelfth season, EUREKA: THE COMPLETE SERIES is also landing on shelves today, in addition to a selection films from yesteryear that you might want to own on a more satisfying format than DVD.

Click on any of the covers below to see what else is on the docket, then just select the film you want to watch and we'll transport you to our Amazon store!
