Marvel’s Hero Project trailer focuses on kids building a better future

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Disney has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Marvel documentary series, MARVEL HERO PROJECT. Set to stream exclusively on Disney+ when the platform launches on November 12th, the heartwarming initiative focuses on kids from around the country who aspire to make their mark by being advocates for positive change within their respective communities. The docuseries aims to bring real world issues to the forefront, and tell the diverse stories of young heroes who've made it their personal mission to change the trajectory of their own futures.

For each episode, a different young person will discover that they've been chosen by Marvel to be immortalized in a Marvel comic book. Each issue will then be made available to the masses via Marvel Unlimited and the Marvel Digital Comics Store for free. The limited series run aims to transform each kid into their own hero capable of standing tall alongside the label's pantheon of righteous protectors. Move over Moon Girl and Nadia Pym, a new Agent of G.I.R.L. will soon enter the fight, and she's armed with a passion to summon sea changes wherever possible.

Oh man, I'm not crying. You're the one who's crying!

Look, I'm a sucker for this sort of thing, okay? I like seeing young people take charge of their own destiny and strive toward building a better tomorrow for themselves as well as those who stand to inherit the Earth. I mean, someone's gotta do it, right? Plus, who doesn't want to become their own Marvel superhero? Call me sentimental – or whatever other colorful word you'll post in the comments section below – but programs like Marvel's Hero Project could serve to inspire these kids beyond their initial plans for greatness. I think that's alright, and I'm sure that others will be swept up by their efforts, possibly creating a domino effect of positive change. Let's go!
