Say your prayers before viewing the new poster for Corin Hardy’s The Nun

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Say your Hail Marys and kiss your crucifix, because Warner Bros. Pictures has debuted a new poster for its upcoming THE CONJURING spin-off, THE NUN.

Produced by James Wan (AQUAMAN, THE CONJURING franchise) and Peter Safran (DARK PLACES, BURIED), the films tells the story of when a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in THE CONJURING 2, as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

THE NUN stars Oscar nominated actor Demian Bichir (THE HATEFUL EIGHT) as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga (TV's AMERICAN HORROR STORY) as Sister Irene, and Jonas Bloquet as a local villager named Frenchie. Also set to appear in the horror spinoff are Charlotte Hope (TV's GAME OF THRONES) as the abbey’s Sister Victoria, Ingrid Bisu (OUTBOUND, THE ZERO THEOREM) as Sister Oana, and Bonnie Aarons, reprising her CONJURING 2 role as the demonic title character.

THE NUN will conjure her way into theaters beginning on September 7th.
