Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Set to cast a spell on you this Fall, A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES is a television film series based on the novel trilogy of the same name by Deborah Harkness. Produced by Bad Wolf and Sky Productions, the upcoming show tells the story of Diana Bishop, an Oxford professor and reluctant witch who stumbles upon an enchanted manuscript and is thrust into a magical world unlike any she’s known. Together with a handsome, century-old vampire named Matthew Clairmont, Diana sets out to discover the manuscript’s secrets. Despite a long held mistrust between witches and vampires they form an alliance and set out to protect the book and solve the mysteries hidden within while dodging threats from the creature world.

A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES stars Teresa Palmer (LIGHTS OUT, WARM BODIES) as Diana Bishop and Matthew Goode (WATCHMEN, THE IMITATION GAME) as the manipulative vampire Matthew Clairmont.

Fans of programs the likes of PENNY DREADFUL, BEING HUMAN, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and SHADOWHUNTERS are going to want to tune into this one. After all, who doesn't enjoy a proper romp lead by a cast of mythical creatures and one very wicked sorceress?

The supernatural drama will air in the United Kingdom courtesy of Sky One this Fall.
