For the sophomore season of JESSICA JONES, we find Jessica struggling to put her life back together after word of her killing The Purple Man (David Tennant) reaches the inner-city streets. After she reluctantly accepts a new and shady case, Jessica finds herself unraveling the mysteries of her own past, while placing her closest friends in the crosshairs of some very dangerous people in the process.
On a more personal note, I've been fortunate enough to see the first five episodes of the new season, and as a major Jessica Jones fan, I can tell you that this season packs a punch right from the start. Things are much more personal this time around, as Jessica searches for the twisted individuals who violated her at an early age. Several of the first season's secondary characters play a larger role this time around as well, which is great news for all of you Patsy Walker and Malcolm, and Hogarth enthusiasts. If you enjoyed the first season of the show, I've no doubt that you'll dig this one as well. Enjoy.
