Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Ahead of its supremely-expensive commercial time slot, Hulu has unveiled their Super Bowl spot for Stephen King and J.J. Abrams' CASTLE ROCK television series.

CASTLE ROCK is a psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, The show combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King's best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The series stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn.

Sam Shaw & Dustin Thomason developed the project for Hulu and serve as executive producers along with J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer. to see the commercial in real time, be sure to watch the big game this Sunday.

Which characters do you expect to see make an appearance? While I'm a little out of touch with King's epic pantheon of characters, I do know that works established within the Castle Rock umbrella include: The Dead Zone, Cujo, The Body, Skeleton Crew, The Dark Half, Different Seasons, Nightmares & Dreamscapes, Needful Things, The Bazaar of Bad Dreams, Gwendy's Button Box, and Elevation.

Will Cujo, King's rabid pooch return to sink his chompers into an unsuspecting victim? Will we hear any familiar name drops courtesy of Shawshank Prison? I don't know about you, but I'm excited to find out.

CASTLE ROCK will make its Hulu debut this Summer
