Green blood, green women, and Nazis in Tarantino-style Star Trek trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

To be honest, the thought that Quentin Tarantino might actually direct a STAR TREK movie is still a little unreal to me. The project is obviously far from a guarentee, as is the chance that Tarantino might direct it, but that hasn't stopped the folks at Nerdist from putting together this rather entertaining STAR TREK trailer cut in the Tarantino-style. It's got green blood, green women, and Nazis. What more would you want from Quentin Tarantino's Star Trek: Voyage to Vengeance?

Quentin Tarantino came up with a "great idea" for a STAR TREK film which he then shared with J.J. Abrams, who then set up a writer's room last December consisting of Lindsey Beer (CHAOS WALKING), Drew Pearce (IRON MAN 3), Megan Amram (Parks and Recreation), and Mark L. Smith (THE REVENANT). From that group, Tarantino chose Mark L. Smith to put together the script while he continues work on the Manson Family film. It's still unclear whether Tarantino will actually direct the film, but if he does, it would make it his final feature-film as he's long said that he'd retire after ten movies.
