New Star Wars: The Last Jedi images tease Rey & Kylo encounter

We are less than a month away from the new STAR WARS, and there’s plenty to look forward including both new and returning cast members. Sure sure, you’re all excited to see Luke (Mark Hamill), Leia (Carrie Fisher), Rey (Daisy Ridley) and, of course, C-3PO, but we’ll also see for the first time Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose and Laura Dern’s Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo. These two new characters are among the returning faces featured in a slew of new images from STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (courtesy of EW), and you can take a look at all of them below!

Most of the images are going to seem familiar to some shots from the amazing trailers they’ve been putting out, but there are a few that will seem fresh, like the one with Rey standing there with Kylo (Adam Driver) looming in the background. Just don’t go looking for any spoilers or key details. I already looked. They were very careful about keeping things secretive.

Also check out the four new covers, one of which is an exclusive edition for Barnes and Noble! Try not to be too titillated by the question above the cover title. It is very titillating.

Nothing too revealing here, but teasing the scenes with Kylo and Rey together is getting me psyched for what is one of my most anticipated aspects of the movie. There's gotta be more animosity brewing between the two, especially from Kylo's end, and not just because they are on opposite sides. Kylo has been training almost all his life in the ways of the Force, and Rey seems to display a considerable amount of power after no time at all. That's probably getting under his skin, so to see that dynamic play out is only one reason I'm anxious to finally see JEDI. That and the Porgs.

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI hits theaters December 15.
