Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Earlier today, it was announced that GAME OF THRONES star Aidan Gillen and actor Tom Hollander (BREATHE) have joined the cast of Bryan Singer's upcoming Freddie Mercury biopic BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY. Little Finger himself will step into the role of John Reid, the band's manager from 1975 to 1978 while Hollander will play Jim Beach, who replaced Reid at the end of his turn managing the legendary rock band.

As you already know, MR. ROBOT's Rami Malek will take the stage as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury for the film. Meanwhile, the remaining band members will be portrayed by actors Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor (drums), Gwilym Lee as Brian May (lead guitar) and Joe Mazzello as John Deacon aka ‘Deacy’ (bass). Additionally, Lucy Boynton was recently signed to the film for the role of Mercury's lifelong companion Mary Austin while Aaron Custer will play Mercury's lover, Jim Hutton. Lastly, Allen Leech plays Mercury's Judas Paul Prenter and Mike Myers is scheduled to appear in the film in an undisclosed role. Justin Haythe (RED SPARROW) and Graham King (THE DEPARTED) will pen the script with Bryan Singer also acting as the films producer.

With both Gillen and Hollander coming aboard the film, BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is a few measures closer to gracing cinemas and giving theatergoers a reason to rock the eff out on the way there. For real though, how many people do you think are going to blast Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" on their way to the theater? The answer, of course, is all of them. I bet you they'll do it WAYNE'S WORLD-style, too.

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY will rock you when it arrives int heaters on December 25, 2018.
