Fans of the original FLATLINERS don’t seem too pumped for the upcoming sequel, a big reason being the new film uses the same name and premise, coming off as more of a remake than a continuation. You may not be able to change the fact the film is coming, but one aspect that may ease the burden is the fact the movie will have an appearance from the original’s star – Kiefer Sutherland. The actor will reprise his role as Dr. Nelson Wright in the film, and a new TV spot gives the slightest of glimpses at the character. If you look closely, you’ll see he hasn’t cut his hair since 1990.
