So, like most people with a pulse, I can't wait for the new GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY film, especially after hearing about its "100% approval rating" during test screenings. And with a little under a month away from release, it's a little surprising we still haven't gotten into the usual advertising Blitzkrieg these types of films get yet.
Though it looks like it might be beginning with this new TV spot. Let's take a look:
Wait, is Baby Groot plugging in a guitar to start rockin' out? Because if so, it would be a travesty if it's not at least nominated for all the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Teen AND Kid's Choice Awards, as well as the Grammys (because why the hell not?). And even if he's not, they should still be nominated anyway.
Admittedly, it's not TOO much new footage. But as the release gets closer, yet still so, so far away, I'll take what I can get to get my fix.
Anyway, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 will save the frikkin' galaxy once more May 5th, 2017.
