This red band trailer for Girls Trip is raunchy and ready to party

I’ve got to tell you, as I sit here trying to devise a way to begin this article, I can’t help but hear the groove and sway of Missy Elliot’s “Get Ur Freak On” in my my head. For real, it’s just bumpin’ in there, right now, like it ain’t no thang. Furthermore, my oh my do Jada, Regina, and the Queen look as radiant as ever!

Anyway, while I’m bouncing in my seat I might as well inform you that Universal Pictures has released a Red Band trailer for their upcoming female-lead comedy GIRLS TRIP. Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, this care-free comedy stars Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tiffany Haddish as four lifelong friends looking for a bit of debauchery while vacationing at the annual Essence Festival in New Orleans. With plenty of jokes that are bound to make you blush, GIRLS TRIP looks to bring the art of rediscovering your inner party animal to ridiculous heights with the help of alcohol, some OG kush, and of course … the proper use of your “lady mouth”.

With a screenplay by Kenya Barris (BARBERSHOP: THE NEXT CUT) and Tracey Oliver, GIRLS TRIP also stars Larenz Tate (HOUSE OF LIES), Kate Walsh (PRIVATE PRACTICE), Marvel’s Luke Cage’s Mike Colter, and Kofi Siriboe (QUEEN SUGAR). You can expect GIRLS TRIP to come crashing into theaters on July 21, 2017
