The third chapter of the franchise that aims to redefine the spy thriller finds extreme athlete turned government operative Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) coming out of self-imposed exile and on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior Xiang (Donnie Yen) in a race to recover a sinister weapon known as Pandora’s Box. Regardless of what the "word on the street" is about Vin Diesel these days, the man has always seemed like he gives each role his all, for what it's worth. Any time I see some behind-the-scenes footage from one of his movies, I tend to be a little surprised that he's not the straight-faced, gravel-voiced guy all the time, and that he actually looks like he's having some fun. I couldn't tell you how XXX: RETURN OF XANDER CAGE will turn out, but I can tell you that I want it to be as fun as the trailers make it out to be!
