Updated: Leaked set pics from Alien: Covenant show off some new creatures

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

UPDATE: We've removed the images at the request of the studio.

Filming wrapped on Ridley Scott's ALIEN: COVENANT about 3 months ago, but that hasn't stopped the trickle of information making its way to fans. We've heard in the past that COVENANT will be a much scarier affair, and if the following leaked set pictures are to be believed, that certainly looks to be the case. Straight from So Is It Any Good? are some images that show off a classic looking monster, as well as some various other creature designs and sets. Take a look!

Word on the street is that COVENANT will show off a new type of Alien called a Neomorph. Perhaps the above pictures show this creature, or at least a variation of how this creature came to be. It's a little reminiscent of the scene in ALIEN: RESURRECTION where Ripley encounters her failed clones. Hopefully the comparisons stop there, and COVENANT delivers more of what fans were looking for with PROMETHEUS.

ALIEN: COVENANT will open in theaters on August 4, 2017.
