Two decades after the freak alien invasion that nearly destroyed mankind, a new threat emerges. This Alien mothership is more than twice the size as the last one and once again, the world's armies must band together to save the world. That's the premise for INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE and with the Blu-ray/DVD hitting shelves in 3 weeks' time, we have an exclusive look at one of the featurettes!

That Liam Hemsworth is one cunning linguist, eh? I jest. I didn't check out RESURGENCE in theaters, but Roland Emmerich's flicks have always provided some decent popcorn entertainment in the "home theater." When it comes to big-budget fare like INDEPENDENCE DAY, the Blu-ray is usually filled with some interesting behind-the-scenes tidbits. Fingers crossed for a Hemsworth commentary.

INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE is currently available on digital HD and will be available on Blu-ray/DVD on October 18th.
