I don't know about you, but Mike Mills' BEGINNERS was a phenomenal film and ever since then I've been looking forward to his next directorial effort. It's taken nearly 7 years, but 20TH CENTURY WOMEN is almost upon us! The story follows three women who explore love and freedom in Southern California during the late 1970s, and you can watch the first trailer for it below!

I actually went into this trailer not knowing what it was about or that it was for a Mike Mills film. As the trailer went on, I really dug how the imagery was cut together with the dialogue. Then the Mike Mills title card hit and I was sold. I really love the guy's writing and directing, and with a cast that includes Annette Bening, Billy Crudup, Elle Fanning and Greta Gerwig, that makes it my first must-see of 2017.

20TH CENTURY WOMEN opens in theaters on January 20, 2017.
