The teaser trailer for Disney Animation's MOANA painted a vibrant picture combining island life with fantasy, and now we have an international trailer that shows us an event early on in the life of the titular character. For those not in the know, the story follows a young woman as she uses her navigational talents to set sail for a fabled island. Check out the latest peek below!
This is an absolutely gorgeous film to look, and given the talent involved, (THE LITTLE MERMAID and ALADDIN co-helmers Ron Clements and John Musker), I have high hopes for MOANA. Admittedly, ZOOTOPIA and BIG HERO 6 did little for me, but this looks like a classic adventure story with some really cool magical properties. Count me in!
MOANA will open in theaters on November 23, 2016.
