'Writing’s On The Wall’, the official theme song from SPECTRE, hit a little over a week ago and has continued to underwhelm Bond fans since. Still, this shouldn't detract audiences from the actual film as fans of the series know that the songs are generally hit or miss. If you can stomach it, Sam Smith's music video has arrived featuring some new, albeit brief, glimpses from SPECTRE.
Now, was Sam Smith crying in the final shot supposed to be funny? I dunno about you, but that imagery doesn't really come to mind when thinking of James Bond. Something tells me that an instrumental version of this theme isn't too far off, although we're probably not lucky enough to have that for the movie. Still, I'll take this over that Jack White monstrosity…
