Over the weekend, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD composer Junkie XL (real name Tom Holkenborg) announced on his Twitter that he'll be providing the score for Tim Miller's DEADPOOL. There will now be two comic book movies opening next year featuring music by the Dutch composer and producer, with the other one being his collaboration with Hans Zimmer for Zack Snyder's BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE.

Junkie XL's other film composing credits include 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE, this year's BLACK MASS and RUN ALL NIGHT, and the upcoming POINT BREAK remake from director Ericson Core. I absolutely loved his MAD MAX: FURY ROAD score, and I'm very curious to know what his plans are for the DEADPOOL score.

DEADPOOL will be in theaters on February 12, 2016.
