Cool Videos: Mad Max fan film delivers fast cars, laughs and plenty of gore

So here's something you don't see every day: a fan-film sponsored by the studio that owns the license! At least, that's what indie production company Corridor Digital says is the case regarding their ode to MAD MAX. Dubbed MAD MAX: ROADKILL BBQ, this 4-minute short film moves at a brisk pace and doesn't fail to deliver some oddball humor and a giant helping of the red stuff. I'm not as keen towards fan films as most cinephiles, but despite a style that's clearly aping George Miller's, this manages to open up the universe of MAD MAX and deliver some fun in the process. They look like they had a lot of fun making this bad boy, so strap in and see for yourself how roadkill BBQ is made!

For those of you eagerly awaiting the arrival of MAD MAX: FURY ROAD on Blu-ray/DVD, that bad boy hits shelves on September 1st and you can pre-order here!
