Ryan Reynolds confirms filming has wrapped on Deadpool

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Ryan Reynolds has been keeping fans in the know since production began on DEADPOOL this past March, and while it's hard to believe that we're actually getting an R-rated flick that sticks to its roots, production has officially wrapped! Sure, there may be pick-ups down the road, but for all intents and purposes, a DEADPOOL movie is in the can! All that stands between us and R-rated mutant glory is 9 months and a ton of post-production work. This is one baby that Reynolds is ridiculously proud of, as he should be!

20th Century Fox may end up pushing X-MEN: APOCALYPSE more than this flick marketing-wise, but I'm willing to bet that this is the one fans are really itching to see. Everything we've seen from the set so far looks great, and we're going to see A LOT more before the release date next February. It's going to be a long wait!

DEADPOOL will hit theaters on February 12, 2016.
