We've already seen a few pictures of Daniel Radcliffe as Igor for VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN, but the first official look at Radcliffe's Igor and James McAvoy as Dr. Frankenstein has landed online via Empire. Paul McGuigan (LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN, PUSH) directed the upcoming film from a script by CHRONICLE screenwriter Max Landis, and production on the monster movie wrapped up last month.

James McAvoy is Victor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley’s classic 19th century novel. Told from Igor’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man—and the legend—we know today.
Empire also got a chance to visit the VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN set, and James McAvoy told the site that the script is funny, but also "really dark, in a cool way." What's your anticipation level for Paul McGuigan's new movie?
VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN also stars Sherlock's Andrew Scott (Moriarty) and Mark Gatiss (co-creator and Mycroft actor), Downton Abbey actress Jessica Brown Findlay, and Callum Turner (QUEEN AND COUNTRY, E4's Glue), and is set to open on October 2, 2015.
