One week from today is when Marvel's follow-up to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will hit televisions and electronic devices alike. Yes, I'm of course talking about the delectable Agent Carter. Played to red-lipped perfection by Hayley Atwell, Agent Carter will follow the titular hero as she makes her way around the British Armed Forces in the year 1946. A new behind-the-scenes video has hit showing us Carter acquainting herself with Howard Stark, and the kind of experiences expected for befriending a member of that family.

While I feel they're pushing the action angle a bit too much (c'mon, TV can't compete with feature-films), the premise here is enough to sell me on the character and whatever stories she may take part in. Add to that the fact Joe Russo (one of the brothers who helmed CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLIDER) is directing the second episode, and the two-parter premiere next week ensures I'll be in front of my TV, eyes glued to the screen!

The 2-hour premiere of Agent Carter hits the small screens on January 6, 2015 on ABC.
