Check out the spoilerly first photos of Arrow’s new Black Canary

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Fans of The CW’s ARROW have likely been anticipating this reveal since the series debuted three years ago. After Caity Lotz appeared in the guise of the Canary/Sara Lance in the second season of the show, fans questioned what this would mean for Katie Cassidy‘s Laurel Lance who went into an abusive spiral of drugs and alcohol through that run of episodes. But, after the events of the third season premiere, the way was paved for a new Canary to emerge.

We now have our first look at Katie Cassidy in her full Black Canary outfit which will debut during the tenth episode of the current season of ARROW. Laurel has been training with Ted Grant over the last few episodes and donning Sara’s leather jacket. With Ra’s Al Ghul the latest foe for Oliver Queen and Team Arrow, they are going to need all the help they can get.

The costume is not as revealing as the one Caity Lotz wore, but it definitely is in keeping with the costume design for the series. It looks pretty badass and should be something to look forward to over the next few episodes. If anything, I am not imagining a Bobbi Morse/Laurel Lance fight scene.

ARROW airs Wednesdays on The CW.
