A new David Fincher movie is always a hotly-anticipated affair and his latest, GONE GIRL, is no different. Based on the novel by Gillian Flynn, the film stars Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Carrie Coon, Emily Ratajkowski, and Patrick Fugit in a mystery thriller that seems perfectly suited to the filmmakers' unique talents. A dark, moody thriller is right in Fincher's wheelhouse, complete with yet another Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, making for what looks to be another solid flick in his resume. Chris Bumbray enjoyed the film, scoring it an 8/10 and JimmyO loved it, calling it a "pulp classic" with a 9/10.
