The first trailer for INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 has arrived to rob you of sleep tonight. The first INSIDIOUS, released in 2011, was a sleeper hit that many heralded as a return to form for the horror genre. Director James Wan (SAW) returns to direct the sequel, which finds the Lambert family still haunted by the spirit world. With all the players from the first film back for another go-round it looks like the next chapter of the series will bring just as many chills and shocks as the original.

Take a look (if you dare!):

The famed horror team of director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell reunite with the original cast of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins in INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2, a terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, which follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 starring Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey, Ty Simpkins and Jocelin Donahue opens September 23, 2013.
