Bryan Singer gives us our first look at James McAvoy as Xavier in X-Men: Days of Future Past

Thanks to director Bryan Singer we are getting looks at each other characters from X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. Today’s mutant share is James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.

Bald is beautiful. Wait, nope, the Professor has long hair. They must be filming scenes from the past, specifically from the 70s. McAvoy looks excellent with that messy coif though, and a little rough. What is Xavier dealing with now? Those who have already read the DAYS OF FUTURE past arch will already know. Shit gets heavy. I’m ready to see Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart go head to head again.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore. The film is set to hit theaters July 18th, 2014.
