IRON MAN 3 is rolling out a very unique new marketing experience, but unfortunately you will only be able to do it if you live in Hong Kong. There is no word if this new augmented reality display will appear anywhere else in the world, but right now it looks like Asia is your only change to don the Iron Man armor.

The video below showcases this technology that captures the user on camera to both don the famed superhero suit as well as interact with it’s abilities such as flight and repulsor weapons. As you can see in the videos, the experience is brief, but totally awesome.

I love crazy promotional stuff like this. IRON MAN 3 is being marketed very heavily in Asia but I wish we were getting something this badass in the States. I did see something similar to this for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES that allowed you to capture your face and add the Batman cowl or the Bane mask, but the potential to do the whole suit is awesome.

IRON MAN 3 opens stateside on May 3, 2013.
