Chloë Grace Moretz is just a poor, lonely little girl in the trailer for Carrie

Did the sneak preview for CARRIE make you anxious to see what the film had to deliver? Well, wait no more. The trailer has finally arrived.

What do we think of Kimberly Peirce‘s vision? It looks pretty damn good if you ask me. A nice little update from the CARRIE we know of 1976. Julianne Moore and Chloë Grace Moretz are really the sell here, without them this trailer may not be so sweet. The relationship between the two already shows strongly in what little we do get to see, so I imagine that the rest that we get from those two will be pretty on par. What are the differences? Well to quote my fellow editor, Paul: “Cell phones and probably no buckwheat full frontal.” I look forward to comparing the Carrie that Moretz brings to the screen versus Sissy Spacek‘s. The original will always be classic though no matter what.

Plot: A sheltered high school girl unleashes her newly developed telekinetic powers after she is pushed too far by her peers.
