Totally gangsta! Five character posters for Ruben Fleischer’s Gangster Squad hit the beat

JoBloJoBlo

Yesterday we got a new trailer for Ruben Fleischer’s GANGSTER SQUAD and today we have five new OLD character posters to supplement.  I say new old, because the posters still have the original September 7th release date on them, which has obviously changed since then.  Although I haven’t seen them before, there’s certainly the possibility that these slipped throught he marketing cracks.

Still, that doesn’t mean they’re not cool, right?  The poster’s fall in line with the film’s retro style and look pretty solid.  The trailer that preceded it was more impressive, having finally impressed me enough to take my ass to the theater for it.  Starring Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Nick Nolte, Sean Penn, Emma Stone, Anthony Mackie, Giovani Ribisi, Michael Pena, and Robert Patrick, GANGSTER SQUAD looks like it may well benefit from having to do reshoots/edits after the horrific incident in the wake of the Aurora shootings.

Only time will tell.  January isn’t really the best stomping grounds for any movie, but here’s to hoping that GANGSTER SQUAD can unleash some box office fury when it finally hits.

Here’s the posters.

GANGSTER SQUAD hits theaters on January 11, 2013.  And here’s that trailer once more…
