Nice to see that the Wachowski’s are back in the swing of things. They recently finished up filming on CLOUD ATLAS which stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Sturgess, and Hugh Grant.
One the sibling duo have been itching to do is JUPITER ASCENDING, an original project. There are no details currently on the plot. However, Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis have been offered the leading roles in the sci-fi film.
With the plot under wraps, (as if the Wachowskis would have it any other way) it’s hard to gauge if the two actors are fit for the roles. Kunis is always good in my book ever since the days of THAT 70’S SHOW. Channing is growing on me due to 21 JUMP STREET and the fact that Jimmy-O told me how super nice he is. Regardless, I think a role in a Wachowski original would actually be a good project for someone like Tatum.
The film is set to start production later this year.
