I can never get enough of the lovely Mary Elizabeth Winstead. As matter of fact, I’m finally sitting down to check her out in THE THING. It’s also great hearing that her recent film, SMASHED with BREAKING BAD’s Aaron Paul has been getting rave reviews.
Now Mrs. Mary is moving on to another scary feature, Daniel Stamm’s THE DARKNESS. The film is loosely based on the classic novel from Henry James, “Turn of the Screw”, which follows, “a young American student working for a charismatic tutor in an English manor house who becomes convinced that she and the children she is warding are being haunted.”
Stamm is responsible for directing THE LAST EXORCISM. Perhaps this film will be better than that one. THE DARKNESS is due to shoot this Summer in Europe.
